As from January 2007, every paint manufacturer must state the levels of VOC contained in their products on the packaging. Also, as of January 2008, the EU have detailed the new acceptable levels of VOC and the sale of all non-compliant products is now illegal.
This has forced some manufacturers to change the mix of some of their products, and this may result in a variance in colour, drying times, durability etc.
